bragazzis & forge bakehouse.

Saturday, 29 December 2012

me and dear friend, beth, spent the gloomy day lunching and antiquing along abbeydale road, now the official antiques quarter of sheffield.

beth and i went to secondary school together where we were never really friends.  then we serendipitously ended up working in the same place nearly a decade later.  since then we have maintained a friendship based on a mutual love for craft and the hunt for pretty vintage things.

the day started with lunch at sheffield institution, bragazzis.  lovely little italian deli and cafe serving and selling amazing coffee and treats.

i could happily eat nothing but deli food for the rest of my days.

we then totted a couple of doors down to explore the new forge bakehouse

forge bakehouse - made in sheffield.
i most definitely recommend the chai brulee tart and the brownies.

hard at work.
