i love words.  as in: i. love. words.  love to learn new words, love to hear people talk with a varied vocabulary, love to slip in the odd newly learnt word into general conversation and mentally fist bump myself if i have managed to use it in the right context.

in my more profound moments (which usually occur when i'm brushing my teeth) i often think how amazing it is that we have so many words made out of just permutations (that's a good word) of the same 26 letters.  does that, or does it not, twist your melon, man?

anyway, clearly i am pinning things that reflect this love of mine, because my feed would regularly throw me one of these images with a word in another language that doesn't quite exist in english, but it puts into one word something that we all know and are familiar with.

you can see the full list of the words here, but i've picked out a few of my favourites:

i'm very guilty of this.
japanese.

norwegian.

yup.
german.

japanese.

speaks to my soul this one.
greek.

and this one too.
nguni (southern africa).

spanish.

super duper guilty of this one.
swedish.
